MINISTRY GUIDANCE TEAM
The Ministry Guidance Team serves as the governing body for the church. They support the pastor’s vision through the development of Guiding Principles for the church. While the church has one head, Jesus Christ, and the pastor is called to shepherd the church; the Ministry Guidance Team holds the pastor accountable. Together, they meet quarterly to assess the pastor and the progress toward achieving the goals set forth at the start of each year.
The Ministry Guidance Team must meet the qualifications given in 1 Timothy 1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. They support, pray for, and encourage the pastor and work together to see the church grow in Christ. In the event of vacancies of church offices, the Ministry Guidance Team will appoint a temporary person to fill that position.
